DonateCircle is a Ugandan community fundraising and mutual-aid platform.
Members contribute money via MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money
(in Ugandan Shillings, UGX) to support each other's fundraising campaigns.
When a campaign collects enough community support, it is approved and the campaign owner
can withdraw their funds.
How DonateCircle Works
- Register for free — sign up with your name, phone number, and email at patu.qzz.io.
- Verify your phone — you receive an OTP via SMS to confirm your Ugandan mobile number.
- Create a campaign — submit your fundraising goal and description in your dashboard under "My Campaign".
- Contribute to others — browse active campaigns and contribute via MTN or Airtel Mobile Money. The minimum contribution is UGX 100,000.
- Get approved — your own campaign is reviewed and approved once the platform sees sufficient community contribution activity on your account.
- Withdraw funds — once approved, your wallet is credited and you can withdraw to your mobile money number. A 5% withdrawal fee applies.
