Registration is completely free and takes under two minutes. Your phone number must be an active MTN or Airtel line — this is how you send and receive money on the platform. - Important: Your account must be at least 48 hours old before contributions count towards your campaign approval — so register early. ### Step 2: Create your campaign Go to Campaigns and tap "Create Campaign". Give it a title, write your story (what you are raising money for and why), upload a photo, and set a target amount and deadline. Once submitted, your campaign starts as "Pending Approval" — it is not visible to others yet. - Tip: Campaigns with a clear photo and honest story attract far more contributions. ### Step 3: Give to Get — contribute first The platform assigns you active campaigns to support. Contribute a minimum amount to one of them via MTN MoMo or Airtel Money. This is the Give to Get rule: every member must give to the community before their own campaign can go public. It keeps the circle fair and self-sustaining. - You can contribute more than the minimum — every extra shilling helps a real person's goal and builds community goodwill. ### Step 4: Your campaign goes live Once your total contributions reach the threshold set by the admin, your campaign is automatically approved and goes live for all community members to see. Every campaign has a unique referral link you can share anywhere — WhatsApp, Facebook, word of mouth. 2. When someone makes a contribution using your referral link, the platform records it against your booster account. 3. The platform pays a base commission rate of 5% on every contribution made through your link. On top of that, campaign owners can add a top-up bonus to attract more boosters. 4. Commissions land automatically in your Booster Wallet. Once an admin approves it, your campaign goes live and the community can start contributing. **When does a campaign creator receive the funds?** The campaign creator can request a withdrawal at any time once they have a balance. The admin reviews and approves the withdrawal, then funds are sent directly to their registered mobile money number. A 5% fee is deducted. **How does the referral programme work?** Share your personal referral link with friends. Every time someone you referred contributes to any campaign, you earn a commission — automatically credited to your Referral Wallet. The more people you refer, the more you earn. **What happens if there is a payment problem?** Go to your Transactions page and raise a support dispute on the affected transaction. An admin will review it and you will be notified of the outcome by SMS and in-app notification. **Do I need a bank account to join?** No. DonateCircle works entirely through mobile money. As long as you have an active MTN or Airtel mobile money account, you can register, contribute to campaigns, and withdraw your earnings — no bank account required. **What is the Give to Get rule?** Before your own campaign can go public, you must contribute a minimum amount to at least one other active campaign. This ensures every member who benefits has also given to the community first — keeping the platform fair and sustainable for everyone. **How long does campaign approval take?** Approval is automatic once you meet the contribution threshold. The system checks in real time, so the moment you qualify your campaign goes live — no waiting for a person to review it. However, the admin can also manually approve or flag campaigns. **What if I contribute but my campaign is still pending?** Check that your account is at least 48 hours old and that your total contributions have reached the required threshold of UGX 20,000. You can see your progress on your dashboard. If everything looks correct and the campaign is still pending, raise a support dispute. **Is there a maximum I can raise?** There is no platform cap on how much your campaign can raise beyond the set campaign target. You set your own target (maximum UGX 10,000,000). Contributions continue until your campaign deadline or until you close it. **How does the booster commission work exactly?** The platform pays a base commission of 5% on every contribution made through your referral link. On top of that, campaign owners can offer a top-up bonus to attract more boosters. You receive the combined rate automatically, credited to your Booster Wallet. **What happens if a payment fails?** If a mobile money payment fails or is not confirmed, it is recorded as failed and your balance is not charged.
